Francine RiversFrancine Rivers always wanted to become a published writer. She majored in English in college and has a minor in journalism. She became a newspaper reporter after her graduation writing human interest stories and obituaries.

In 2007, her book The Last Sin Eater became a movie directed by Michael Landon, Jr.
