Synopsis:
God has a mighty plan for His people. He has established in His Word that His children are to be triumphant over Satan’s plans for destruction. This doesn’t mean that we have to spend all our time fighting the devil. God has given us the weapons we need to continually keep Satan in his rightful place of defeat – the Word of God, and the name and the blood of Jesus.
John 3:16 is an alphabet of grace, a table of contents to the Christian hope, each word a safe-deposit box of jewels. Read it again, slowly and aloud, and note the word that snatches your attention. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
