Synopsis:

When they were little girls, Amy made Lisa promise her that someday they’d go to Paris and walk down the Champs-Elysees together looking tres chic. After all, Amy’s classy grandmother was from Paris. Then over the years, they drifted apart. But some promises seem to be held for safekeeping in the courts of heaven until the time is right, and these reconnected friends-for-life are handed the opportunity to see Paris together! Lisa’s only response to her patient friend is “Oui oui, mon ami!”

Review:

This is really an endearing story of two girlfriends who were childhood friends. I could relate to the story because of my “sisterchick” friends and the things we talk about and the things we have done together. There are so many memories of times together with that special friend who knows you so well and loves you anyway!

The story of Amy and Lisa and all that they shared together is both funny and touching. I love how their faith in God grew stronger and how they encouraged one another. They did have several years when they lost touch with one another because of a misunderstanding, but when their paths crossed again, it was as though no time has passed. That is real friendship!

Their trip to Paris, France is quite humorous and adventurous to say the least! I have never been to Paris, but it made me want to go and do the things Amy and Lisa did together, especially the shopping and taking in all the beautiful sights!

I want to thank my sister-in-law, Marianne, who is one of my “sisterchicks”, for sharing the book with me. We have had some special times together, and it makes the book, Sisterchicks special to me.

This is the fifth book in the Sisterchicks series and I look forward to reading the others as well. I think you will really enjoy reading this book and sharing it with your “sisterchick” friends as well!
